THE CATECHISM STUDY GUIDE for Licensed Ministers Revised 2016 The Catechism Study Guide for Licensed Ministers was developed to aid ministers who are preparing themselves to be ordained by the Gethsemane Baptist Association to enter the service of Gospel Ministry. This booklet is an attempt to allow each Minister to gain a better understanding of their purpose and their duty as a Minister in society. The study questions contained in this document follow (in part) those of the Baptist Education & Mission Convention of South Carolina and prior Gethsemane Baptist Association Study Guides. Required Criteria needed to take the exam.
Pastors Letter of Recommendation: the letter must include information on the nominee’s ministry experience and must be signed by the nominating Pastor. The nominee must present a copy of his/her ministers license from the nominating church.

Exam Fee of $150 4. The letter & the license must be submitted to the Gethsemane secretary at least 10 days prior to the date of the exam – payment can be made the day of the test.
