First off, welcome dwcook138 and congratulations on your new Speedmaster! For me, the Speedmaster is probably closest to being the perfect bike.

The forward controls are not too forward, just right. The reach to the handlebars is very good. The reach to the ground for my somewhat short legs is good as well. The only changes I have made were to go from pegs to Kuryakyn Isowings, which are close to a footboard without being one, and a solo gel seat and rack. I am very happy with it with those small changes. I think an exhaust change will be in the future, but I am in no rush.
