This tub gasket provides a waterproof seal for the gap between the dishwasher tub and the outer edge door. If water is leaking from your dishwasher door and your seal is damaged, replacing the gasket will solve the problem.
To repair it, open the dishwasher door and pull the corner of the gasket. Before installing your new gasket make sure to check the channel for buildup, which can affect the fitting of the new gasket. Begin with pressing the new gasket into the center and push it along the channel.
