Mazda 626 Repair Manual 1998
Asked by jcope0762 Aug 28, 2014 at 03:25 AM about the 2002 Mazda 626 LX V6 Question type: Maintenance & Repair I have a '02 Mazda 626 LX with the 2.5L V6. I had a overheating issue basically a year ago to the date, ended up being my luck both the thermostat and waterpump failed within a day of each other, as a result both got replaced and never had a issue again in till a day ago.
It started dumping all antifreeze it had through the overflow canister and have a loud but dull whine like something rubbing but all belts good. No leaks around water pump or thermostats housing. System flushed and replace in march (did myself). Could either of those really fail again after only a year?
